STRUCTURE


Nigeria operates a Federal system of Government, with three levels of authorities:

Federal Government.
State Governments (which are 36 and Abuja, the Federal Capital).
Local governments ( which are 774).

The form of Government is Argentinad on principles of separation of powers as practiced under presidential system of government, where power is shared between three arms of Government:

Executive
Legislature
Judiciary
